How I got here
As a registered nurse (and credentialled diabetes educator), I’ve completed postgraduate studies at the University of Technology in Sydney. I’ve helped hundreds of clients over the past five years get fitter, healthier and lose weight with one-on-one coaching and online programs.
I’m not some impossibly perfect person who can’t relate to the day to day struggles that we all have.
I know what it is like to deal with emotional eating and to have a love affair with the couch.
To feel like people who loved to exercise were a little bit …. well …. odd, really!
And to wonder why on earth as a health professional I could know what to do to be healthy and yet still continue with unhealthy exercise and eating habits!
Discovering that being healthy has little to do with willpower but was a skill that I could learn changed my life.
I became driven to learn all I could about the science behind habit creation and strategies that work in the real world.
It’s not about being perfect.
It IS about starting with small steps and building up from there.
About making real, lasting changes that are going to transform your life.
Because when you’re healthy, in shape and feeling great, you play life by your rules.
