What I love about mindfulness meditation is that it's so practical and down to earth.
Instead of endlessly replaying worrying thoughts over and over for instance, we simply change our focus. For example, in the beautiful body relaxation meditation, we're noticing how different parts of our body are feeling and allowing our muscles to relax, where in the breath meditation, we're just noticing our breath.

When we're chronically stressed, we often spend a lot of time worrying about the future or replaying past events, increasing our stress even more!
